Welcome to Tuesday! Thanks to all of you who contacted me yesterday. If you haven’t yet, take a look at Monday’s post to find out how to leave me an email message. I’ll be sending you an email tomorrow so you’ll want to make sure you can get into your email account.

You can continue to work on the things on Monday’s list, but here are a couple more ideas for you too.

• • Legends of Learning. This site is fun and it has both math and science games. I set up an account for our classes and a playlist of games to get you started, but you’re free to explore the site on your own. Leave a comment on this post to tell us which games you like! Watch the video below to learn how to set up an account and log in. Remember, you might need to click the popout icon in the top right to get it to play.

• Do you want to “talk” to your classmates? I set up a chat channel in Teams. To get to your team, go to Office 365 (you can just type in office.com if you’re already logged in to your Microsoft account), then click Teams, and find your Accelerated Math Team. Over on the left side you should see a channel that says Class Chat. Please read my instructions on the Teams page and follow them carefully. I’ll keep the chat open as long as we can use it appropriately!

• Tomorrow morning I’m going post instructions on how to use Flipgrid. If you haven’t used it before, it’s a way to post and comment on videos. We’ll be using it for a virtual morning meeting on Wednesday!

Fun Stuff 

• Video of the Day: Another Rube Goldberg machine! I like this one because at the end it shows the thinking behind how it was made, and also shows the HUNDREDS of fails before he got it right. Do you think you could make one of these yourself?
