Good morning and happy Thursday! I have a few things for you today; please read all the way down to the bottom!

Zoom Call

A lot of you have asked about doing class meetings by Zoom, so we’re going to try it on Friday morning—that’s tomorrow! We will do two meetings, one for the Blue class and one for the Green class (we can’t fit all of you in one call, sorry!) This morning we are sending an email to both you and your parents about the Zoom meeting so you’ll know exactly when it is and how to join it. Please make sure you read it carefully so you’ll know what to do on Friday. P.S. If you can’t or don’t want to meet, that’s fine! It is not required.

Mystery Class

Like I said on Monday, I’m going to ask for your answers to Mystery Class today! You don’t have to have all of them, but I expect that you have at least some of the cities figured out. I promised you we’d have a celebration if we get them all right, and we will…even if we have to do it in the fall! However, we first have to get them all right. Click on the form below and type in your answers. Then look at at the blog tomorrow for information about how we’re going to decide who’s right!

Other Assignments

This is just a reminder that the assignments Mrs. Coté and I posted in Teams this week are due by the end of the day tomorrow (Friday). We’ll be posting new assignments Friday afternoon for the next school week, and you don’t want to get behind! If you have any questions, please let us know by email, blog comment, or by leaving a message in Teams. We want to help you!

Video of the Day: Generation Genius

For science, we need to learn more about forces and motion. Time for Izzy, Zoe and Dr. Jeff! Watch the video—there are some fun ideas for things you could try at home, too. If you do any of them, take a video or picture and send it to me!

If you read all the way to the bottom and did all the things I asked you to do today, good job! Leave me a comment telling me which activity from the Generation Genius video you’d like to try. See you tomorrow!

  1. I’d like to do the egg thing, but I don’t want it to break.

    1. I’ve done it in class before and haven’t broken an egg yet! Maybe try it with a hard-boiled one, or one of those plastic Easter eggs filled with candy!

  2. I want to make a hover craft but my mom said no so I will do the egg one and the blow dryer one.
